LeTourneau University is an interdenominational Christ-centered university offering more than 80 programs that prepare students for success in areas including the arts and sciences, aviation, business, education and engineering. Graduate degree offerings include business, education, engineering and psychology.

Meet LeTourneau (Lŭh-turn-ōh) University, founded in 1946 by world famous industrialist and inventor, Mr. R.G. LeTourneau. LeTourneau’s 162-acre main campus is located in Longview, Texas; two hours east of Dallas and one hour west of Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition to the main campus, our School of Aeronautical Science is located at the East Texas Regional Airport. The Abbott Aviation Center, a 55,500 sq. ft. facility filled with state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and a 10,000 sq. ft. hanger houses a fleet of 12 aircraft.

LeTourneau’s student population represents all 50 states and over 30 foreign countries. More than 85 competitive academic programs are offered within its six schools with flagship programs in engineering, engineering technology, materials joining, aeronautical science, teacher education, and business. Our faculty members are Fulbright Scholars, global travelers, consultants, and leaders in their academic fields. LeTourneau is known and recognized nationally for its undergraduate research, hands-on-learning, and small faculty-to-student ratio.

And with an average class size of 15, you'll engage personally with them—including Fulbright Scholars, the former undersecretary to one of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, a man who traveled to space on two space shuttle missions and orbited the earth more than 300 times.
