An introduction to Master of Business Administration Summer Short-Term Program (non-degree). The Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University is excited to host the International Mini MBA certificate program for those in international business who need to learn the realities of 21st century operations in the ever-increasing global marketplace.

The program is uniquely designed to accommodate the international learner and to introduce the US business environment presented by the faculty of PSU’s AACSB accredited business school.

This program is a series of eight 3-hour classes and visits to companies and financial institutions in the region. You do not need to have a business degree or any degree at all, to enroll. What you do need is a desire to learn from a group of experienced educators with advanced degrees and real-world experience.

Campus housing along with access to PSU library, computer labs and Student Recreation Center is included. Airport pickup and return from Joplin, Missouri Regional Airport (JLN) is also included in the package price.

2014 International Mini-MST Certificate Program

An introduction to the Master of Science in Technology Summer Short-Term Program (non-degree). Pittsburg State University’s College of Technology is proud to announce the creation of a new International Mini-MST certificate program for those in international business and industry, who need a better understanding of today’s technologies that impact them. The program is a series of 18 three-hour blocks of instruction and field experiences beginning on July 14th and ending July 25th, 2014.

This program is uniquely designed to accommodate the international learner and introduce the U.S. industrial, engineering and technological environment presented by the faculty of PSU’s award-winning and nationally recognized College of Technology.

You do not need to have a business, engineering or technology degree or any degree at all to enroll. What you do need is a desire to learn about today’s technologies and industries from a group of experienced educators with advanced degree and real world experience. Hands-on experiences interacting with technologies in the 278,000 sq. ft. Kansas Technology Center and field trips to area industries and companies are key components of this unique learning opportunity.

At the conclusion of the Mini-MST program, each participant will receive a certificate, in recognition of this professional development accomplishment.

Campus accommodations include on-campus housing with access to PSU library, computer labs and Student Recreation Center. Classes will be presented in three-hour blocks with some field trips. Airport pickup and return from Joplin, Missouri Regional Airport (JLN) is also included in the package price.

About the College of Technology at Pittsburg State University

The mission of the College of Technology is to be the center for excellence in technology for the state of Kansas and the region. The college assumes this leadership role through programs in five departments: Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, Graphics and Imaging Technologies, Technology Management and Technology and Workforce Learning. The Kansas Technology Center facility includes over 14 computer labs with approximately 400 workstations, wireless connectivity, and close to 70 technical laboratories.

The labs throughout the Kansas Technology Center feature up-to-date equipment, much of it provided by industry and corporate partners of Pittsburg State University. Approximately US$ 26 million worth of equipment has been secured through donation, equipment loan or purchase.
