Housing

Students at Brandeis International Business School (IBS) live in several neighborhoods around the school. Waltham, where Brandeis IBS is located, is one of the more affordable suburbs in the Greater Boston area with several large and small apartment complexes and multi-family houses. Waltham has an excellent choice of restaurants, shops and an independent movie theatre. Public transportation affords easy access to local shopping and cultural events as well as access to Cambridge and Boston.

As well as in Waltham itself, many students choose to rent apartments in Boston or Cambridge (often in the Porter Square section of Cambridge and Somerville), which are within comfortable commuting distance of the school. These three cities all offer a high quality of life, and each has its own particular virtues.
