Solebury School, New Hope, Pennsylvania (USA) Scholarship for Global Citizens

The Scholarship for Global Citizens is the newest initiative to make a Solebury School education possible for students from all areas of our world. Launched in fall 2018, the scholarship of US$ 15,000 began at the start of the 2019-2020 school year. The scholarship is renewable each year upon satisfactory academic progress.

Students who believe they epitomize what it means to be a global citizen are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have:

• a sense of being a member of the global community and willingness to share that belief with others
• a history of strong academics and community involvement
• a desire to try new activities and share what they currently pursue with our Solebury community

Diversity is at Solebury School’s core. From our Global Education Concentration to our trips abroad and student exchanges, our students learn to understand and appreciate their roles as global citizens — that includes deliberately creating a student body drawn from around the United States and the world. To that end, we welcome international students in several ways.

There is no need to submit additional materials in order to be considered for the Solebury School Scholarship for Global Citizens, however, applications must be received by February 1 in order to be considered. Only international students qualify for this scholarship.
